The XLSTAT AI Assistant guides you through three complementary features: intelligent data description, selection of the most appropriate statistical method for your objective, and automated interpretation of an XLSTAT analysis report.

Get an instant, intelligent overview of your dataset. Select the relevant cells in Excel and let the assistant deliver:
A summary of variable types and data structure
Insights into missing values and anomalies
Key descriptive stats like mean, standard deviation, and distributions

This adaptive summary helps you quickly grasp the nature of your data and where to go next.
Choose the right method
Not sure what statistical test or model to use? This feature asks you a few clear, targeted questions about your goals—whether you're predicting, comparing, exploring, or explaining—and recommends the most relevant XLSTAT method.
It's perfect for beginners and a great second opinion for experts.
Interpret statistical results
After running an analysis, select any output table or chart and send it to the AI Assistant. It generates a plain-language summary of your results with flexible levels of detail:

Getting started with the AI Assistant is simple. Here's how to make the most of it:
Access requirements
Available with an XLSTAT Advanced subscription
Ensure you're using the latest version of XLSTAT
Internet connection required (OpenAI API limits may apply)
Using the AI Assistant
Open XLSTAT and click the AI Assistant button in the toolbar
Select from Describe My Data, Choose the Right Method, or access it from an XLSTAT report via the AI Assistant icon
Interact with the AI Assistant via the dialog box, then export results to Excel or Word, or copy to clipboard
