Addinsoft announces the availability of version 2009.6. The PLSPM module is now fully compatible with Excel 2007. XLSTAT is the only commercial software offering this very powerful and highly successful feature. Excel 2007 users can enjoy a new ribbon. New options are available in XLSTAT-Pro including for repeated measures ANOVA, variable transformations. XLSTAT-SPC is augmented with new features allowing compatibility with SAP.

After obtaining the certification for Windows 7 in July 2009, Addinsoft is proud to announce that version 2009.5 released on October 1st is fully compatible with Windows 7.

Addinsoft organizes the second course on PLS Path modeling and on how to use the XLSTAT-PLSPM module (Nov 23-25 2009). The course will be held in Paris, France, on November 23 till 25. The first course was a great success and we could not satisfy the demand. This is a new opportunity for our users to meet three key contributors the method: Wynne Chin from University of Houston, Michel Tenenhaus from HEC and Vincenzo Esposito Vinzi from ESSEC. All presentations will be given in English.

Addinsoft is proud to announce the availability of version 2009.4. Version 2009.4 brings the capability to handle nested designs to the ANOVA function. XLSTAT-SPC has been improved with a nested option for RRX analysis .

Addinsoft, together with scientists recognized as major contributors to the advances in PLS related methods, has decided to reward the carrier of Michel Tenenhaus, professor at HEC Business School (Paris, France) with the first PLS Award, a new prize aimed at recognizing an outstanding scientific contribution in the area of PLS regression and/or PLS approach modeling. Michel Tenenhaus who will be retiring in fall, has been a major contributor to the PLS methods, with his unique book on PLS regression and his major contributions to the PLS approach.

Addinsoft will continue to support research in this domain and announces that the second PLS award will be attributed in 2010 to a scientist that promoted the PLS methods by either a theoretical or an applied contribution.

Addinsoft is proud to announce the availability of XLSTAT version 2009.3. A resampling statistics function has been added to XLSTAT-Pro. XLSTAT-Life is complemented by a new feature for method comparisons, including the Bland Altman plots. Measurement System Analysis and Gage R&R are now available in XLSTAT-SPC, for both quantitative measures and attributes.

Addinsoft, the world leader in analytical solutions for Microsoft Excel, announces XLSTAT 2009.2. That new version brings a new tool to compute quantiles and their confidence intervals using 5 alternative methods. XLSTAT-Pro is also completed with a tool to add a curve to an Excel scatter plot with just 3 clicks. Principal Coordinate Analysis is added to XLSTAT-ADA. Last, the GPA now offers two alternative algorithms.

Emmanuel Jakobowicz joins Addinsoft and will be responsible for the new statistical projects at Addinsoft. With Emmanuel Jakobowicz, Addinsoft wishes to reinforce its efforts to promote new research in applied statistics while making it available to anyone within its top of the edge solution XLSTAT. Emmanuel Jakobowicz holds an engineer diploma from EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland, and obtained a PhD in Statistics at the CNAM in Paris, France.
