PLS Award 2011

Dr. Nicole Krämer is the winner of the 2011 edition of the PLS Award sponsored by Addinsoft. The PLS Award is a prize that rewards a major breakthrough in the field of PLS methods. This year the committee headed by Pr. Michel Tenenhaus, the former winner, decided to honor the research of Dr. Krämer to compute an unbiased estimate of the degrees of freedom for PLS regression models. Calculating the degrees of freedom is useful to compare different models.
