8th IAG International Conference on Geomorphology in Paris : a prize awarded by XLSTAT
On the last week of August, XLSTAT awarded a prize at the 8th IAG International Conference on Geomorphology in Paris.
More than 1400 participants attended this 2013 conference which focused on «Geomorphology and Sustainability » .
Dr Emmanuel Jakobowicz, co-owner of Addinsoft, awarded the 2013 prize to the best presentation during the "statistics in geomorphology" session.
Lise Vaudor received the award for her communication on « Interpreting wavelet-based decompositions of geomorphological features: the example of the Rhone river bathymetry ». A cash award of 560 Euros was also given to the winner on that occasion.
