Cursos a medida

Wynne Chin
Wynne W. CHIN es profesor del departamento de Ciencias de la información y las decisiones del C.T. Bauer College of Business en la Universidad de Houston. Ha recibido su A.B. en biofísica por la U.C. Berkeley, un MS en ingeniería biomédica/química por la Northwestern University y un MBA y doctorado en informática y sistemas de información por la Universidad de Michigan. Wynne también ha impartido clases anteriormente en la Universidad de Calgary, la Wayne State University y la Universidad de Michigan; además ha sido profesor invitado en la Universidad de Canterbury, Queens University, City University de Hong Kong y la Universidad de New South Wales. El trabajo de investigación de Wynne incluye la automatización de la fuerza de ventas, adopción de TI, externalización, aceptación, satisfacción, cohesión y negociación de grupos, junto con problemas de modelado psicométricos. Wynne está en los consejos editoriales de las publicaciones Structural Equation Modeling, Journal of AIS, Journal of Information Technology, IEEE Transaction of Management. También es el desarrollador de PLS-Graph, el primer software con base gráfica que realizaba análisis de mínimos cuadrados parciales, y que se remonta a 1990.

Vincenzo Esposito Vinzi
Vincenzo ESPOSITO VINZI tiene un doctorado en Estadística informática y es ahora Profesor de Estadística numerario en la Escuela de Negocios ESSEC de París. Vincenzo es también el Presidente electo de la International Society for Business and Industrial Statistics y Presidente electo del European Board of Directors de la International Association for Statistical Computing. Sus estudios incluyen la estadística multivariada, el modelado de ecuaciones estructurales, la regresión PLS y el modelado de rutas con aplicaciones de orientación comercial. Vincenzo ha participado en muchas conferencias y organizado sesiones sobre PLS y métodos relacionados durante eventos internacionales. También ha presidido conferencias internacionales y ha sido corredactor de varias actas de conferencias y ediciones especiales de publicaciones internacionales sobre métodos PLS. Vincenzo es Editor asociado de Computational Statistics & Data Analysis, Advances in Data Analysis and Classification, Statistical Methods and Applications y Computational Statistics. Es Editor jefe de "Handbook of Partial Least Squares: Concepts, Methods and Applications" publicado en 2010.

Anne es asesora principal en Qi Statistics Ltd, una consultoría con sede en Reino Unido que ofrece una cartera completa de asistencia estadística a través de la formación, el análisis de datos, asesoría de proyectos y desarrollo de software. Es estadista colegiada con más de 25 años de experiencia en la asesoría de un amplio abanico de empresas. Gemma Hodgson is a statistical consultant at Qi Statistics Ltd, a UK based consultancy offering a full portfolio of statistical support through training, data analysis, project consultancy and software development. She is a chartered statistician with over 15 years of experience in a wide range of roles both with big and small companies. She has run many training workshops with a focus on taking the perceived mystery out of statistics, equipping participants to answer their business questions in a more efficient way.

Guy Mélard
Guy Mélard is Professor at the Université libre de Bruxelles in Belgium and is partner at ‘Innovative Training & Software Expertise’, a company based in Brussels. He is an experienced Statistician specialised in computer statistics and in forecasting and time series analysis. He is the author of various scientific articles in these areas and of several books, among others, ‘Méthodes de prévision à court terme’ which 2nd release has been published in 2007. He teaches time series in a business management program dedicated to master graduates. He participated in many seminars and courses all over the world in both French and English.

Emmanuel Périnel
Emmanuel Périnel es un asesor independiente del análisis y estadística de datos. Recibió un doctorado de la Universidad de París IX-Dauphine en estadística aplicada y un DEA en matemáticas aplicadas a la economía. Emmanuel fue también profesor en varias instituciones, incluyendo la Universidad de París Dauphine, el Agrocampus de Rennes, así como catedrático de la Universidad de Estrasburgo y la Universidad de Alta Alsacia, Colmar. Michel Tenenhaus
Michel Tenenhaus ha sido Profesor de Estadística en la Escuela de Estudios Superiores de Comercio (HEC) de París desde 1973 a 2009. Sus investigaciones principales están dirigidas al análisis de datos multivariados: métodos de escalamiento óptimo para variables categóricas, regresión PLS y modelado de rutas PLS. Ha publicado muchos estudios en prensa científica así como tres libros: Méthodes Statistiques en Gestion (Dunod, 1994), La régression PLS : théorie et applications (Technip, 1998) y Statistique : Méthodes pour décrire, expliquer et prévoir (Dunod, 2007). Michel Tenenhaus también es asesor de empresas industriales. Ha sido presidente de PLS’99 en Jouy-en-Josas y de PLS’09 en Pekín, así como copresidente de los simposios PLS’01 en Anacapri, PLS’03 en Lisboa y PLS’05 en Barcelona.

There was a good interaction between the teachers and some of the attendees, this interaction was useful to me to understand some parts of the course. I liked hearing the teachers discussing together when they had different views between each other -even though I could not follow all the subtleties, as they were discussing at an "expert" level ! Also I appreciated the linking (sequence) "presentation of theory and formulas" - "put into practice using real cases". This really helped me a lot.
Claude Wolf, UMPCI registered to the PLSPM course as using PLS was required for my current studies using multivariate analysis. I liked this training very much and especially the fact that it talked about practical use and proposed hands on exercises. I was very satisfied by the trainers who were both pedagogic and competent. I would definitely recommend that workshop especially to people who like me work in the medical/biomedical sector.

In particular, I liked the hands-on software examples and the fact that we were able to meet the academic thought leaders. I also obtained a more comprehensive perspective for using measurement model diagnostics to support applications of Mode PLS as an alternative to the established reflective and formative approaches. I would recommend this training to other marketing science practitioners.
