Our sensory data analysis course focuses on the mainstream methods of sensory data analysis. You will get an overview of all the steps of the data analysis process: from the design of experiments, to preference mapping, through the analysis of the various effects to control - judges, products, sessions. You will also get your hands on sensory data to get accustomed to the statistical methods and XLSTAT.

    Emmanuel Périnel

    Emmanuel Périnel is an independent consultant in data analysis and statistics. He received a Ph.D. from the University Paris IX-Dauphine in applied statistics and a DEA in applied mathematics to economics. Emmanuel was also a lecturer at several institutions including the University of Paris Dauphine, the Agrocampus of Rennes, and contracted lecturer at the University of Strasbourg and the University of Haute Alsace, Colmar. His research focuses on discrimination trees and sensory analysis. He has worked as a consultant for many industrials, such as Channel, Firmenich, Société Générale, and EDF.
