Addinsoft is a privately-owned company managed by Thierry Fahmy (PhD Statistics). XLSTAT was introduced by Thierry Fahmy in 1993. It was designed to help users gain time by eliminating the complicated and risky data transfers between applications that had been a requisite for data analysis. Encouraged by the enthusiasm of early users, the XLSTAT team decided to make its product available on the Internet in December 1995, where it has continued to evolve in response to customer needs and suggestions.
Since January 2006, Juergen Jaeger, a Data Mining mining expert with a worldwide experience, former member of the IBM Data mining R&D team, coordinates the developments and the technological partnerships. Before joining Addinsoft, Juergen Jaeger worked with IBM, Logmetrix, Kalima and Pertinence.
